DSD 700 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 9
DSD, VCR, TV (using SCART or RF Interface)
NOTE: As the LNB carries a small voltage from the IRD on
its centre connector, it is recommended that the
decoder is switched off at the mains before
connecting or disconnecting the LNB connector.
1 Connect the coaxial cable from the LNB on the satellite dish to the
socket marked LNB IN on the DSD. The connector on the coaxial
cable should be turned until it is finger tight.
2 Connect the terrestrial antenna connector to the RF IN socket on
the DSD.
3 Connect the RF OUT socket on the DSD to the RF IN socket on the
VCR.
4 Connect the RF OUT socket on the VCR to the RF IN socket on the
TV.
The following instructions applies if your TV and VCR have SCART or
RCA connectors:
5 Using a SCART-to-SCART (or SCART to RCA) cable, connect the
TV SCART socket on the DSD to the SCART (or RCA) socket on
the TV.
6 Using a second SCART-to-SCART cable (not supplied), connect
VCR SCART socket on the DSD to the TV SCART socket on the
